University of North Georgia Elite Camp | October 2022 | Dahlonega, GA
PROS
- Camp was very organized and run by UNG coaches
- They knew who I was as soon as I walked in
- Arena was clean and air conditioned
- Small group = better exposure to coaches
- Very good competition
- Only 4 hours long
- My squad went undefeated
- I played very well in all 4 games
- Led my camp team in assists
CONS
- No feedback from coaches on if they liked me or not
- Didn’t really feel like I got better, just a really good workout
- Learned they were not really looking for 2024 point guards
MY FINAL THOUGHTS: Their campus is only 70 minutes from my house which is a plus. They have a nice arena and the coaches were very cool. I had a lot of fun, but left not knowing what the real benefit was as a 2024 guard because they were mostly interested in the 2023 guards. Don’t feel like I got better, I just proved I can play at the same level as the two 2023 PGs they were recruiting.
